Anyone ever used one of those crystal-making kits? If so, do they require sighted assistance, and how did the crystals turn out?

I had one of those. It requires sighted help however.

I had at least one of those when I was a kid, but yes, it/they required sighted assistance. It was still fun, though.

Imp, I never did this with a crystal making kit but we did it in gradeschool and I can't think of why you would need sighted assistance. I found a ton of youtube videos on it, check them out and see what you think. I watched this one and one other-url below

I had no idea they made crystal making kits. Hmmm. How exactly do you make crystals?

All I know is they come with some kind of powder that solidifies in water.
